Can (7/17/25) shared by Steve. Hazy, honey brown, light sparkle, decent head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, piney/grapefruit-y hops. Taste is strong caramel, grapefruit/pine/citrus. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. This is almost more of a Black IPA, but I suspect this is due to age/decay of hops rather than intention of brewer. Appreciated the tick of the brewer. Jury is still out on whether this is well done but wrong style or just old and non-representative. Either way, weirdly OK but not great.

Nice mango and grapefruit mosaic. Pours golden with decent head. Quite a bitter finish here, and solid beer all around. Tap at Flying Saucer in Dallas Airport.

Mosaic IPA from Community has been one of my favorite IPAs for a number of years. Now it appears Community has what they call a West Coast version although the ABV is significantly less. Okay by me. 12 oz can found at the nearest HEB supermarket at a reasonable price, cold and ready to be poured into my Great Heights tulip glass. The appearance is a clear light gold body topped with a credible head of completely white foam. The scent is fine, unequivocally hops oriented and citrus in the background. And the taste is throwback in a good way. Once again, hops first and foremost, lemons, crackers, maybe a bit of mango sweetness, paper and grapefruit. Not a hop bomb as I hoped, certainly not like Hop Stoopid or La Cumbre's Elevated are or were. But still a nice bitterness at the finish.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Rusty Bucket Pub
Peach, apricot & passionfruit aromas. Passionfruit led flavours, splash more peach & apricot. Just a tad of dankness. Juicy fruity aftertaste. Tasty burps too. Nice.
