16 oz can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of piney hops, grass, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is very hoppy, with lots of piney and grassy hops, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Almost more IPA than pils. Excellent.

Flavour has a wonderful expression of the Nelson, with tons of gooseberry, white wine, dank hops, bitter pine, and just enough biscuity malt to back. The Nelson dominates. Beauty.

Bottle. Pours a jet black hue with a medium creamy tan head that quickly dies to nothing. A big boozy nose, barrels galore. Rich, the barely wine dominates, soft huge barrels, huge powerful whiskey. Just wonderful. Layers of flavor.
