Bomber from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. They’d kept it in the frig case. Pours a ruddy amber color with a decent beige head. Lots of fresh citrus fruit for aroma. Rather full bodied with lots of foamy carbonation. It’s pretty astringent and bitter. For me it’s a tossup whether I’m getting grapefruit rind or pine. Seems very fresh and lush. Finish is dry.

22oz Bottle pours a cloudy amber/light brown. Huge sandy head with lots of blocky sticky lacing. Hop aroma is decidedly citrus and spicy and very pleasant. A little floral. Malt character is mild and light. Big bitter hop flavor, just barely enough malt back bone to keep up. A bit papery imediate aftertaste...and then the lingering bitter iBUrn. This late stage bitterness is actually not as pleasant as other DIPAs. The body is moderate but very smooth and almost slick. Carbonation is a bit soft and contributes to this. A skin of "whipped cream" head just doesnt go away. A decent, "in your face" IPA but a little more late hop flavor would be nice.

Bomber. Cloudy dark amber/orange body. Large frothy, off-white head. Pleasant aroma, if not all that complex, of orange, flowers, toffee and toasted grain. Notes of pine and resin emerge as the beer warms. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Solid, fairly well balanced double IPA.

Courtesy of fishingnet. The pour is clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet with raisins, apricots and other notes a bit more musty. The taste is much the same with raisins and apricots mixing with red wine. By midway it gets drier and more white wine like along with a bit of oak pulling up into the finish.

Bomber bottle, thanks to larsniclas!On June 16, 2009Cloudy golden color, small white head. Vegetable, cheeze, garbage, sweet, estery scent. Spicy, yeasty, sweet, apple taste. Medium mouthfeel, spicy aftertaste. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small white head leaving behind decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a fruity hop with citrus and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet grain taste. Easy to drink a very refreshing beer perfect for the heat. A good American pale ale from Bridgeport.

Had last night in bottle at Bulldog. Rating from memory and what I distinctly remember is lots of liquorice, salty, molasses and dark chocolate. It was very much like an English stout, but hopped up. It was kinda weird. At first I liked it, but then I decided I didn’t care for it that much after all. Something different, but won’t try again.

Courtesy of fishingnet, you know what I like. Pours copper with tan head. The aroma is a bit bourbony to go along with pine, malt sweetness and fresh wood. The taste has yummy rich sweet malt notes mixing with wood, a couple of dashes of vanilla and a moderate thick layer of caramel. Pretty damn good stuff.

Bottle from Bottle Trek. Hazy orange amber color with little head. Nice aroma of citrus over caramel. Flavor is just a touch oaky or bretty with malt, citrus and spice. Quite astringent. A balancing sweetness develops towards the finish. Very tasty product. Every sip is a delite.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head Has a sweetish malty slightly hoppy aroma wit hsome hints of bourbon and caramel. Fruity malty caramel and vanilla flavor with some oaky hints and also some hoppy bitter hints. Has a sweetish malty caramel and vanilla finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.
