Sweet taste, of liquorice rather than sugars. Some smokey, fading taste; malts but none too pronounced. Neutral mouthfeel, no new aftertaste. A Winter Warmer, this?

Ruby amber color, small creamy head. Fruity aroma with herbal hop notes. Rich fruity caramel flavor with tingly spicy hops and med bitter finish. Residual lingering caramel sweetness. Small amount of diacetyl. Something sharp around the edges.

Citric hop aroma with a touch of bready malts. Slightly hazy gold, with a webby head. Interesting soft palate is the first noticeable trait, with a lingering piney and firmly bitter finish. Long hoppy aftertaste. Malts not really there, just enough to give it some semblance of balance.
