On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. You can’t always choose milestone beers, but I am pleased that this is 2500. I love the beers from the PNW so a solid exponent of the IPAs from that part of the world is perfect. Hazy gold with a lasting off white head. Enjoyable hop aroma. Grapefruit aroma, slightly sticky hop, some sherbert. Good malt hop balance. Still a huge hop finish, but more manageable than some. Really rather drinkable.

On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Like a Belgian wit with a bit more tangerine, with a passing nod to a tripel. More bananary esters. Nicelemon. Good wit, full of flavour, but still that clean feel. Flavours are intense too. Lovely

On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Chestnut. Thin beige head. Really banana/pineapple/green apple fruits. Bit of ginger on aroma, then banana/pineapple flavour. Oddly fruity

On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Copper colour with thin off white head. Slightly stale I thought. Bit of banana. It’s got that blackcurrant flavour so perhaps Willmette hops. Bit over carbonated. Odd estery aroma as well. Fine.

12oz Bottle pours out a hazy yellow topped with a white head. A very nice hop aroma. Also a good hop tast.

Bottle: pours a clear copper / amber color with an average head. Aroma is a bit grainy and sour, but tastes better. Taste is crisp and clean, with floral tones, pine, and maltiness. Not bitter or sour tastes at all. Not bad, but not great.

Present from my son, Enniskillen! Nose is of a small amount of molasses, with some chocolate notes thrown in along with some roastiness; Very dark but transparent brown with a small tan head; flavor is semi sweet with some mild molasses and background cocoa and coffee notes.

Nice hop tones with lemon and citrus present. Also a bit bready, but still retains a nice sweetness. Well balanced in taste and crisp finish.

Bottle from santa - Pours a very dark ruby color with minimal head - dry, roasty aroma, with background chocolate malt, vanilla, cream and minerals - a little thin-bodied - the flavor is about what you’d expect from the style, though - quite dry, with a salty, hard water quality, tempered by a mild sweetness backed by coffee and molasses - thin, flat finish - drinkable, but a ho-hum offering.

Bottle from santa - bright orange pour with attractive lace - bready aroma, with an earthy, floral character - crisp and spicy, with a relatively low hop profile, yeasty quality and tang that one usually finds in the more traditional, British examples - nothing to rave about, but pretty solid.
