Pour is a deep copper orange with medium white head. Sweet citrus aroma. Medium syrupy body. Flavor is malty with sweet citrus and some toasted bread. Finish has lingering malt with the bitterness on the side of the tongue. Decent.

Bomber from Boise Co-op. Dark golden, with sudden high head, which rapidly dissipates. First knock, the style needs to hold a big head. Aroma is in the ballpark, yeast, cloves. Taste carries these notes forward, sweet, slightly savory. Slick mouthfeel. Peppery finish.

12 oz bottle enjoyed outside in the sun. Not really sure how I feel about a beer with candy in the description, but a fair chance will be given. Out weSoft citrus and malt aroma. Flavor is sweet, as expected, but not the type of sweet I had imagined. Light in the refreshment department. An okay beer for me.

Bomber from Costco for like $5. Black. Thick. Roasted malt, molasses, dark chocolate, light coffee, burnt malt, bittersweet, some light dirty earth. Extremely well balanced. Not overly complex yet quite enjoyable. An approachable, flavorful, well-crafted imperial stout.
