Description
Craft beer is a passion, an obsession and a journey. This journey has opened our eyes (and taste buds) to some of the finest examples of beer this planet has to offer. Our tastes and expectations have forever changed, and so have our methods of enjoyment. From beer trades, to home brewing, to attending release parties and festivals one thing became clear… We rarely drink the same beer over and over again, and we love to share.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a hazy yellow-orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was big melons, mangoes. Flavor was Light green onion, fresh hop. Tropical fruits. Creamy, easy to drink.

Coffee and coconut. Roast and caramel. Black pour with good head and lacing. Some booze in the finish, sweetness from caramel but otherwise pretty bitter. A little heavy on the additives, they kind of take over on the end, on the aftertaste. It's still a good beer, just not as well balanced as the best imperial stouts. Tap at brewery.

Wonderful upfront aroma from the riwaka. Really gets in your face in the best way possible. In your mouth, a little more caramel some booze--it shows a few cracks in the follow through. Hazy orange pour with decent head. Bittersweet finish. Tap at brewery.

Lemon and grapefruit. Some green, unripe mango. Great mix here and a wonderful IPA all around. Hazy yellow pour with great head and lacing. Light bitter end, not really any green onion or hop tang. Love this. Tap at brewery.

A little oak and some lemon. Pours dark copper with great pillow of head and carpet lacing, like you bought the whole bed spread. Light tangy finish. Smooth pour and carbonation on nitro. Tap at Ocelot.

Lots of grapefruit on the top here, some lemon. Golden pour with pretty good head and lacing. Finish is quite bitter. Nice balance here, and nice IPL or whatever we are calling it these days.

Pint can - clear gold, lively pour, thick and cream head - looks quite inviting, really - nose smells like rice, hay, and grass - creamy texture up front becomes watery through the middle and finish - flavors of rice, white grape, grain - finish has some peppery hops and lingering grain notes, along with a light acidity - tail end is all American light corn lager - it isn’t without it’s merits, but it’s not substantially better than the macro brands it clearly seeks be a craft alternative to, aside from how it looks.

Clear gold, ring of white head. Nose is herbal and limey, some grist and corn. Flavor follows. Lime and oily hop over grist. Slick, dry, easy drinker. 7 3 7 4 13
