A small can from Padstow Tesco. Aroma: fruity, tangerines mostly. Appearance: semi-opaque Orangina, off-white lacing. Palate: light-bodied and slightly tart, softish carbonation; the finish is on the dry side. Taste: medium sweet, a hit of sherbet, not much else going on. Probably best ice cold beachside.

A small can from Padstow Tesco. Aroma: very powerful, mixed tropical fruits, I get passionfruit. Appearance: opaque lemonade, big and beautiful snow white, frothy head, dissipating rapidly. Palate: light-bodied and lightly astringent, lively carbonation; no lasting impression at the finish. Taste: lightly sweet with some astringency, a bit of biscuit, aroma trumps flavour. Rather generic, aroma and appearance promised more.

Can in the Eurostar, London to Paris. Pretty easygoing stuff, inoffensive, light citrus notes, peach, melon, soft rindy bitterness, mild pale bread. Drinks fine.

Can on the 1852 Eurostar from Brussels to London St Pancras on 24th January 2026. Pours pale gold with shallowing white foam and full lacing. Light citrus aroma. Citrus and spiced sweet and tangy fruits in-mouth and a light citrus finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Blikkie in de Eurostar op weg naar huis. Diep goudgele body, troebel, en een witte hobbelige kraag. Geur van hars en (zoetig) tropisch fruit. In de mond is de fruitigheid beel sterker, zoetig en zacht fruit, met nog een beetje hars. Smaak is lichtjes zoet, fruitig, met een vleugje bitter. Lichte body. Iets bittere afdronk. Heel prettig.
