(Bottle 2020) Pours hazy red brown with red highlights and a tiny tan head. Lovely aroma - toffee malt, port, notes of smoke and apples. Full bodied, slightly stick, modest fine prickly carbonation. Excellent rich complex taste. There’s a rich toffee malt sweetness throughout the palate. There’s a surprising and lovely fruity tartness that balances this well through the start and mid palate. There’s some modest but pleasant bitterness in the finish. The prodigious alcohol is well integrated. Dangerously drinkable.

It pours a very impressive copper colour, but unfortunately that's probably the highlight for me. The label talks about three distinct hop varieties, and it certainly has that feel - different flavours that don't quite match. It has aromas of caramel, lemon, spice, raisins, grass and boiled lollies. There are some nice toast and caramel notes in the mouth, but they're overpowered by a fairly bland bittering hop. Not enough body or length. In spite of everything I've written, I did warm up to this strange combo as it went on.

(On tap) Clear golden amber with small white head. Lovely intensely hoppy aroma - pine, citrus hint of passion fruit. Medium body with plenty of smooth bright carbonation. Taste is hop driven with plenty of hoppy flavor but restrained bitterness. It is well balanced with caramel sweetness. Very nice.

(On tap) Clear amber with reasonable head. Pleasant tangy aroma. Light body with good carbonation. Great taste with hoppy fruitiness at start of palate and modest hoppy bitterness in finish. Light maltiness in mid palate quite subdued. Very drinkable.

(On tap)Clear coppery brown with tiny head. Subtle pleasant aroma. Light body with somewhat fizzy carbonation. Nice taste with good balance. Hops drive the taste in a restrained way. There’s good citrus fruity notes at the start and some gentle bitterness in the finish. This is balanced with some gentle caramel notes. Very drinkable.

This can is 6.0% ABV. Dark brown with a large light tan head that never quite gives up. Very fruity aroma with grapefruit, nectarines, barely ripe berries, dark bread. Smooth bodied with moderate carbonation. There's some coffee and hints of roast as well as bread under the fruit. At the end it gets a bit peppery as well as fairly bitter. Really good.

Can. Clear amber with an inch of white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of oranges, some pine and herbal notes, some bread crust and peach. Medium sweet with more citrus - maybe some lemon as well as orange - than pine. Dryish with fairly strong lightly peppered bitterness at the end. Bought because the hop is new (to me) - and it is a little different but not wildly so. A solid drop.
