Loads of liquorice and cherry in the aroma present as sarsaparilla and lemon in the mouth, overwhelming the more traditional stout notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. The sarsaparilla unbalances it a little, but it's a bold effort.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/1/2018. Pours a cola colour with a small head. The nose is malty with caramel dominating. Flavour wise, it's quite sweet, with yet more caramel, some milk chocolate, lactose and vanilla. The sweet is met by a modest bitterness which fits well. Medium bodied with softish carbonation. A rather tasty sweet stout.

Pours amber with a fading head.Bready aroma, some chestnut notes and a little apple. Soft.Nice nutty and bready flavours with a hint of smoke. Finishes a little short though.

Bottle. Pale amber with a large white head. Aroma is floral with some citrus and peach, light bread and grains. An odd herbal note that doesn’t quite fit. Fairly light bodied, highish carbonation. There’s a little bread, honey and biscuit, but rather more peach with citrus and flowers wafting over the top. Moderate bitterness, fairly dry finish. Solid refreshment.

amber, bit hazy, thin froth on top. Nose is slightly woody, earthy, touch of fruity hop. Not the most well-developed beer, but a simple pale.
