Deep brown with a reddish tint with a two-finger light tan head. Aroma is complex with hints of fruitcake. Taste is also fruitcake with nice malty grain flavors.

Clear golden with a foamy head. Grain, metal, light citrus, lard. Dry bitterness with a grainy sweetness. Light to medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry grainy metallic bittersweet finish. A Helles like many other around, this is pretty basic.

Sampled @ Tucher Bräu am Opernhaus Small, stable and lacey head over foxy amber beer. Caramel, lightly coloured malts, faintly diary. Dry, bit piney and leafy, but again quite some caramel. Feels rather well-bodied; slick, not very carbonated. Initially quite interesting, but in the end it levels average.

Sampled @ Tucher Bräu am Opernhaus Bit lace, if not much head over orangeish yellow beer. Some yeast, malts, and a spritzy, citrussy aroma overlying. Bit chewing gum; again something citrussy, pale malts, white bread. Good carbonation, slick; taste goes away quickly but not abruptly. Quite decent.

Draught @ Tucher Bräu am Opernhaus Dense, medium yellowish head over faintly veiled orange-amber beer. Fresh malts, partly toasted, and lots of yeastfeatures. Sweet malts, little toast in the taste, but yeast quite prominent again. Rather full MF, the yeast helping, as well as the stable head. Soft carbonation, however; Not bad at all. Wonder if it's still made in a real Tucher brewery?

Im Glas hellgülden und klar mit feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone hinterlässt einen flaumigen und langlebigen Eindruck. Duftnoten von Getreide und Weißbrot - dazu grasig-heuig bis zart floral hopfig. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, passend rezent, leichtgängig und ausgewogen was leichtes Malz und passende Hopfung betrifft. Der Körper zeigt sich mit mäßiger Fülle, feiner Rezenz, seidiger Textur und leichter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch nimmt man eine leichte Malzigkeit mit Noten von Getreide und Weißbrot wahr. Dazu kommt eine grasige und heuige bis zart florale Hopfigkeit. Das alles wirkt sehr ausgewogen und harmonisch und somit absolut stiltypisch und letztendlich auch gut trinkbar. Im Nachtrunk hält die Malzaromatik gut an und endet in einem angenehm trockenem Hopfenfinish.

50 cl bottle. Nice old school label. 5,3 ABV. I reckon that’s a different beer .Cloudy orange color. Hay and grains flavour. Another "nice" one from Tucher.

33 cl bottle. Golden colour with medium head. Grainy aroma and flavour. Just ok pilsener . Unfortunately Tucher is the biggest brand around Nuremberg.
