A dark red beer with a small chocolate brown head. It has no aroma, but the flavor is slightly smoked, slightly sour with roasted notes. A good mild - though the body is somewhat thin.

[Cask at Charlie's Bar] The aroma is slightly fruity. The color is orange and it has a small lasting head. The flavor is malty sweet with notes of fruit and hops. It has a great bitter ending turning dry on the tongue. The mouthfeel is very smooth. Definatly one of the best bitters I've had.

It ends on an OK fruity bitterness. The body is very thin - probably because of the low ABV. I will never think of this as a mild - it neither has the look nor the taste of a mild - it is a light version of a bitter.

Hoppy, resiny, leathery, woody beer. Good malt balance. Surprisingly, this isn't very dry in the finish, which it probably should be if it wants to handle curry with the big boys like Bhagwan's.
