Unit 7 Enterprise Park Piddlehinton, Dorchester, DT2 7UA, England
Description
NOTE:-
The brewery originally traded as 'Dorset Piddle' then dropped the 'Dorset' in 2014.
Beers produced since 2017 do not carry 'Dorset' in the name, with one exception, the Rogue but this follows Piddle instead of preceding it.
As such beers in the Brewver database carry the name 'Dorset Piddle - ' on the beers that went out of production after the 2014 rebranding.
This wasn't the cleanest or quickest transition and there were still beers being produced in 2015/16 with Dorset on the label.
With a name like Piddle, you’d think we don’t take anything seriously. Dictionary definitions of piddle vary. Some list it only as a verb; a synonym for wasting time, as in ‘piddling about’. British dictionaries also list it as a noun, as in “I need a piddle”. It’s lucky that we don’t take anything too seriously.
But, we do – just one thing – and that’s the beer that we make and love. Our passion is blending hops, barley and malts in to create ales that bring serious pleasure, from delicate thirst-quenchers to thick, velvety stouts. A mix made in heaven – or in as in our case Piddlehinton in deepest Dorset.

Hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Dry pale malts, no wheat character. Clear apricot but really not that sweet. Mildly bitter floralness before a smooth and semi dry finish. It’s a clean beer but the bitterish apricot is not my cup of char.

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot jam, orange barley water and honey. Flavour is initially sweet malts, then marmalade, followed by a grassy hop finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A touch too sweet for me, but a decent beer.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a reddish tinge, and a strong but fizzy head. The aroma is dulled sweetness, and the flavour is milky, gently bitter and mildly sweet with a yeastiness about it. Overall an overall stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light sweet flavor with more tangy fruits, leaves, wood, leather, berries. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Further ripe, lightly sour fruits on the finish, faint apples, cherry, plum. In poor condition but also kind of novel.
