330ml can from National Brewery Centre, Burton on Trent watching Around the World in 80 Days, with Michael Palin, final episode. Misty golden appearance, small white head. Fruity orange aroma, mild orangey tropics to taste, not too thin or light tasting. Not really what I would call a hazy IPA, but decent 1.1% pale overall.

Can. Cloudy burnt orange with a white head that fades to a loose raft. Aroma of grapefruit, lime cordial. Not quite without body. Taste has a little cordial-like citrus and a little bitterness. If I'm at a pub and not drinking, bitters and soda is what I drink. This is quite like that.

My 100th Tripel rating on RateBeer. Bottle. Clear gold with a coat of white head that's soon an island. Aroma is mean and grainy with some apricot and coriander. Moderately sweet and rather doughy with a decent spicy bitter finish. Not nearly as impressive as their dark Belgian (Morning Star) but OKish.

355ml can into schooner. At New England motor Lodge, Glen Innes. Pours red/copper with a large foamy white head. High fine carbonation. Nose of tropical fruit and smoky caramel malt. Good lacing. Medium body, smooth texture. Slight zing on the swallow. Finish is more malt but is a bit thin. Not bad, easy drinking ale.

Can, 12C was perhaps a little warm. Paleish amber with a white head. Aroma of oranges, rye spiciness, coconut, flowers- different from 3 Ravens Freya but recognisable. Light bodied. Sweet with bread and blood orange, only a little tropical fruit, gentle woody notes, moderate bitterness. The hop blend is interesting and I hope to have more beers with it - it’s like an inversion of the citrus and pine thing with broader fruit and mellower woody notes. Pretty good.

Bottle. Clear mid brown with a light beige head that fades to less than a full coat but doesn't disappear. Convincing aroma of bread, dried fruit, cloves, white pepper. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not very rich malty flavours but that's OK because it's dryish and the toasty and dried fruit notes are enough before yeast-driven spices and moderate bitterness. Might be quibbling to say it's a little strong for what's offered because it's ambitious and good stuff.

Pours hazy yellow, small fading head.Nose shows raspberry, lemon rind, and a bit of soft watermelon. The watermelon is more prominent as a flavour, with the raspberry playing second fiddle. A nice gentle but refreshing acidity rounds things out nicely.
