Opaque black color. Brief tan head. Aroma of chocolate and bourbon. Flavor mirrors nose. Bittersweet chocolate, bourbon, oak and cinnamon. Rich and flavorful. Smooth, but intense. Outstanding.

Appearance - lively, slight gush, like Coca Cola. One or two floaters.
Nose - honey, molasses, Blackjacks, burnt toffee.
Taste - molasses mainly, cola, Kendal Mint Cake.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy and rich, fizzy texture.
Overall - didn't pour well, but got better and better.

Bottle thanks to Stuu's Chicago adventure. Pours murky looking dark brown with no head and a few floaters. Aromas of coffee and molasses. Taste is cola, coffee, sweet chocolate. Boozy finish.

Bottled cellared since purchased as part of the release. Wow - I live the Eclipse series and this one stands out in robust, rounded flavor that is cut perfectly by the honey aspects. This has apparently aged perfectly since 2023. Nice roast on flavor and the ABV is hidden here.

Bottle shared. Clear mahogany, beige head. Huge bourbon, praline, alcohol, oak, sugar, caramel, vanilla. Quite sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Nice.
