Can, Wines on Poath. Cloudy orange with a rapidly fading white head. Funky peach aroma with twangy crackers, twigs, citrus, some Dubbin. Nicely balanced with a little body too - not quite dry with light bread under peaches and old citrus, oak. Gently acidic rather than sour. Elegant stuff - refreshing with depth if you look for it.

Can. Almost clear pale gold with a 2cm white head. More citrus - herbal lemon, grapefruit - than tropical fruit, some crackery bread. Dryish with a good balance of local and US hop notes before firmish bitterness. A bit early 2000s if you still like that sort of thing (I do).

Can. New Old Ale, huh. Dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of nectarines, grapefruit and melon over coffee and bread. The hops crowd out the roast and chocolate of the Too Easy version but they creep back in a bit upon a taste. Bitter with lingering citrus and coffee at the end.

Can (Mr Mama). Brown with a brief beige head. 3- Aroma of black coffee, moderate roast, chocolate, light spices. Dryish despite a decent amount of body with coffee and roast upfront and modest bread and a little chocolate behind. Moderate spicy bitterness at the end. Moderate carbonation. Tidy and satisfying.

Pint on tap at Catfish, Fitzroy. Amber beer with foamy white head, high fine carbonation. Nose of sweet malt and grass. Beautiful sticky lacing. Fresh balanced hop/malt taste. Clean dry finish. Really nice IPA, very drinkable.

Can. Clear golden amber with a loose white head. Aroma of marmalade-like citrus with a touch of caramel, some pine. Then lots of mango in the taste. Sweetish and clean with citrus and a stentorian bitter finish. Solid, perhaps a little old fashioned.

Can. Clear gold with a near cm of white head. 3+ Refined aroma of Meyer lemon, sherbet, gentle mango, light bread, a little pine. 7+ Moderately sweet plainish pale malt doesn't do a lot more than get in the way of the fruit flavours and bitter finish. Combination didn't work all that well for me.
