Cloudy amber beer. Semi dry palate. Very odd flavour. Like a dry spicy tripel but with an odd tangy sweetness. Finishes dry and quite warming. Doesn’t hang together for me.

750mL bottle, pours black with as small tan head. Aroma of charred roasted malts, lots of burnt caramel, and bittersweet chocolate. Flavour of burnt caramel, very roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, liqueur, dark fruits, and a slight alcohol burn on the finish, but well-hidden for 12%. Full-bodied, creamy and silky. Delicious impy.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2012. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head. The aroma is chocolate and roast. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet chocolate roast with a nice smokey finish. A good Imperial stout from Voodoo.

22oz bottle with green cap-pours a big foamy offwhite head that laces with hazy gold color. Aroma is citrus-orange, some light malt. Taste is citrus-orange/some grapefruit/lemon/pine hops with some bite, secondary sweet light/medium malt-bready. Crisp.

Now, this is a unique pumpkin beer, not yer typical hazy yellow beer. On tap at the house olf 1000 beers. Pour is a mezmerizing event of settling foam on a big black beer, you gotta see this! It rolls for about a minute or two! The smell is also mezmering, like the candy of your youthood! Licorice taste and pumpkin background make for a desirable punky beer. Burns a little going down the hatch and now I see the alky is near 9%. Hardley any CO2 in this brew on the tongue but plenty of action inthe pour. Unique and as different pumpkin beer for a change, welcomed! Better than most pumkin beers. Beatuful lacing on the glass. Got to be one of the top pumpkin beer experiences for me so far.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark nut brown color with a medium sized tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was strong nut and molasses with faint ripe fruits. The flavor was tangy sour cherries, caramel, strong molasses, nut, bread, toffee and coconut. The finish was long with molasses, caramel and nut lingering. There was an astringent presence at the extreme finish. Full bodied. Very nice.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle date. I got a gusher. Pours crystal clear dark brown color with a nice dense 2-3 fingers of light tan head with great retention that reduces to a fairly thick lacing cap that lasts forever. Some nice lacing clings around the glass as well. Aromas of roasted malt, caramel, bread, apple skin, light dark fruit, chocolate, and some molasses. I think it is safe to say my bottle might be a bit infected. The apple skin aroma just throws everything off. Taste quite a bit better: big caramel, toasted malt, biscuit, chocolate, bitter coffee, molasses, nuttiness, and spiciness. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, chocolate, molasses, bread, nuttiness, and spices. Nice balance of flavor and bitterness. A bit of a metallic flavor is present as well. Medium bodied with big full carbonation; with a fairly creamy mouthfeel with big prickly carbonation. Overall for probably being infected, this is an ok brown ale. I will definitely give it another shot sometime, the bomber is only 6 bucks.
