Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 12/1/10
Aroma: The nose is very Belgian yeasty, lots of spice, some citrus, other fruits, and dough
Appearance: Another gusher from Voodoo, I'm going to start calling these guys the gusher brewery if this keeps up, and the pour is a cloudy orange with a foamy, lasting, white head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, tangy citrus, lots of spice, and some doughy malts
Palate: This beer feels fairly fizzy on the mouth, its a touch thin and has a fairly short finish to it
Overall Impression: My first rating of December, that wasn't really worth noting, but I noted it anyway. This was another mediocre brew from Voodoo. There isn't anything particularly terrible about their beers, but they're just not that interesting, and the quality of the product is just alright. Decent, but not particularly exciting stuff.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks David Cohen. Black with a big brown head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Roasty flavor, slightly alcoholic, with coffee, some burnt notes, a bit of chocolate and some bitterness in the finish. Full-bodied.

Bomber from Oak Tree. Pours really dark brown with a 3 finger foamy beige/tan head. Smells a bit like chocolate. Med body; frothy carb. Primary flavor is chocolate; followed by something touch of treacle. Definitely not sweet, but not all that bitter either. There’s something perhaps citric.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, roasted malt, wood, and soy sauce, leading to a dry woody, and roasted finish.
