Holy cow - great hazy golden coloured body with a thick dense tan head, a very bright orange glow and a zillion small bubbles rising from the bottom and sides of the glass - this is how you’d want any lager to look like - wow. Mild cereal and citrus aroma with a touch of wheat, yeast and some mild hops - not a lot though! Medium-bodied; Assertive hop and spice character up front then fades pretty quickly to a citrusey, almost piney hop flavour, still not showing too much though. Aftertaste shows some hop bitterness, a twinge of yeast and some light sweetness. Overall, a very good looking and smelling beer and a decent tasting beer with a mild, minimalist finish. Worth trying, since it is a good lager for a hot summer day, but not the best i’ve had in this style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liquor Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 10-October-2010 sampled at home in Washington on 19-October-2010.

12 oz. Bottle, poor into a pint. Pours a clear yellow with lots of floating spices and yeast. Has a big bubbly white head which did stay awhile, nearly til the end. Leaves a soapy like lacing. Has a good aroma of fruits and spices. Very high carbonation. The flavor is pretty good. Nice mouthfeel. A LOT of spice. they say they use 12 varieties of peppercorns.. well, you can taste it. In fact, it’s big time in the finish. It is nearly overwhelming. I don’t think I would ever buy it again. Just to much spice.

Aroma: The nose has some spice and grass hops, some hay, yeast, and some herbs
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a thick, foamy white head and lots of lace
Flavor: It tastes less hoppy then it smells, it has a nice malt character, maybe a bit herbal in taste
Palate: The body is medium, it has a somewhat astringent feel to it, and a bit of stickiness as well
Overall Impression: I thought this beer was a good attempt. I liked the nose a bit better then the taste. I was expecting a little better hop flavor from the description, but overall it was pretty decent.

Aroma: The nose is full of Belgian yeast, it has some spice, dough, sugar, and grass
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a frothy white head with streaky lace
Flavor: The taste is medium-high sweet, both sugary and spicy, with minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is medium with somewhat soft carbonation, a slightly sticky feel, and a bit of heat
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a decent Belgian style ale. It wasn't the greatest example of the style, but it wasn't a poor example either. I enjoyed it enough, solid stuff.

Aroma: The nose has overripe citrus fruits, resiny hops, and a bit of yeast
Appearance: This one was a big gusher out of the bottle, it pours a hazy, dark golden color with a huge, foamy, off-white head that covers the inside edges of the glass in sticky lace.
Flavor: The flavor of this one doesn't stand up to the nose, subdued, bitter, but lacking depth
Palate: The carbonation is rather soft considering the gushing, a very short duration, and a bit watery
Overall Impression: Well, this one was like a roller-coaster. First, it gushed everywhere sending beer all over my table. Then I got a whiff of that nice resiny/hoppy/fruity nose, and I thought I might be in for a good one, but alas the taste just didn't live up. It isn't a bad IPA, but it lacks depth and finishes way too quickly. I like some of the components a lot, and I'm not nearly as impressed with other parts, like I said, a roller coaster.

50cl bottle pours a oily, opaque black with a cloudy, white head. Nose is coffee, burnt toast, coffee grounds, a touch of vanilla. Flavor is sweet, coffee grounds, burnt toast, nuts, vanilla, chocolate. Full bodied and dry.

Gold with just a touch of amber. Aroma is mostly malt with some sweet caramel and a touch of hops. Full mouth. Flavor has a stronger hop presence than the aroma but still run by the sweet malts. The 7% is pretty well hidden, which when drank as a summer refresher, can really surprise you.... Good brew.
