Nearly black with a tan head. Sweet dark ripe fruits, tart, a bit of earth, light roasted notes and some chocolate orange. Not picking up much rhum influence- could be the earth but this is an agricole so you’d think there would be a grassy or vegetal notes to it. It’s fine but I feel a bit off the mark. Was looking forward to the agricole.

A clear, light brown with a medium head and tons of floaties. The figs are very present and add a layer of spice and sweetness to this otherwise bland brown ale. Light toasted malts and a touch of fruit round it out. No hazelnut that I can find. Medium to thin body. Eh.

Bottle. Bit hazy dark golden. Sweet malts, caramel, bread crust, peach, prunes, resin, green hops, endive. Solid medium sweet and a bit less bitter. Solid medium bodied. It's decent and close to a classic US IPA but also a bit unbalanced and all over the place.
