Bottle. Pours a rather unenticing yellow with a big (and short-lived) fizzy head. Aromas are sweet adjunct malt, apple juice and grass. Maybe I’m just really thirsty, but this goes down fairly well... I wouldn’t say that it is a wonderful beer, but it is nice enough for the evening. Flavor is unbalanced a little by the sweet adjunct presence, but it finishes nicely as this is balanced out by watered down grass presence. Even though it is a little thin, it helps keep it very refreshing.

bottle - Pours brown. It’s not even very dark brown, just brown. Warning! Warning! Stouts should be darker than this beer. It has a light roast malt aroma. It’s sweet with a mild roast malt flavor and not much else. Light bodied, it’s not a bad flavor, but is well off the mark of a stout. I’m not sure what they were thinking here.

bottle - Pours light gold with a thin white head. There’s a light aroma with cereal malt and a touch of hops. The flavor is of a fairly typical pale lager though it’s more substantial than similar Hite offerings. For a lousy style in general, this beer is actually decent. It’s light bodied but not really watery and it’s certainly easy drinking. There’s little else to recommend it, but it might be your best bet of the easy to find beers in Korea.

bottle - I finally found it. It’s a beer even more like water than Beck’s Light. There’s pretty much no aroma and very little taste. What’s there is just a little malt or something. Thin and watery, this soda water is pointless. But hey, the bottle says it has fiber in it. wheeeee!

draft - What can I say? It’s a somewhat tolerable pale lager, but that’s about it. It’s sweet with grainy malt flavors, very little aroma, a thin body, and it goes down fast. At least it’s better than some of the other popular pale lagers from America and elsewhere.

Bottle, thx to Maria. It pours a dark ruby to brown body with a beige head. Grainy, roasted, coffeeish aroma with toffee and butterscotch. Butterscotch in the flavor too, but here it dominates, with some fruityness and coffee added. Medium body. Sweet, roasted, butterscotch finish. Drinkable, but far from being a good stout. (080412)

330ml bottle from Plonkers, Friargate, Derby. A global-clone lager - pale straw with a soapy white head; grainy rice aroma; corn syrup sweetness, some cardboard and a vague bitterness to the finish.
