Description
Evil Twin Brewing was started up “nomadically” in 2010 by Jeppe Jarnit- Bjergso. In 2012, Jeppe and his family decided to make New York City their home and join the burgeoning local beer scene. In 2016, Jeppe was approached with the opportunity to finally root his ideas & dreams and Evil Twin Brewing NYC was born.
At Evil Twin Brewing NYC we wanted to expand upon the traditions of innovation & further it with the intimacy of a local neighborhood microbrewery. With more control over our recipes, we are able to experiment on new flavors while perfecting the classics.
Collaboration is a huge part of Evil Twin Brewing NYC & we are excited to be able to host & collaborate with all the amazing brewers in NYC and throughout the world within our very own home base! We strive to be a community space for all of Ridgewood and Queens and our goal is that our brewery and taproom becomes a place for locals and beer tourists alike.
Our Queens brewery has been a long time coming & we are thrilled to have a home where our families, friends, and neighbors have a place to share our love for great beer, food & culture with the Ridgewood community, NYC, & the world!

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: yellow semi-hazy color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bready malts, light citrusy to floral hops
Flavor: wraps the prior noted aromas together to a sweet then sly bittersweet arrangement; finishes bready and floral hoppy
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness
Overall: good lager but to truly say German pilsener, well that might be a stretch - just a bit.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark pink close to red in color with a half finger of foamy white head which dissipated fairly quick and left just a little bit of concave lace
Aroma: sweet and tart strawberries up front, the lacto/yogurty tone in the middle and an ever so slight milk chocolate down in there.
Flavor: sweet and tart in the front through the strawberries and the lacto/yogurty tone, the milk chocolate is once again an afterthought; finishes with the strawberries & lacto/yogurt
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, light smoothness but also some tart assertiveness
Overall: nicely tart fruit ale with the chocolate vibe more in the background. I'd bang this again.

16oz can from Tavour. Murky orange/golden pour, big airy head settles to thin creamy cap leaving streaky lacing behind. Aroma is citrus zest, caramel, light tropical notes. You can sense the ABV on the nose. Taste is citrusy, pineapple, toffee, dank, boozy. Hefty mouthfeel with a warm glow on the way down.

Aromas are malt, oak and hops. Flavors are similar to nose and bittersweet with slightly soft carbonation. Drinkable but nothing special.

Aromas are a nice blend of citrus, resin, malt with hints of floral and earth. Flavors are similar to nose. Leans just slightly sweet with enough bitter and carbonation to balance. Full-bodied. Satisfying.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Pretty much a clear deepish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, a slight cereal grain but, it works in this brew. The Cascade hops bring bright marmaladey citrus with a floral overtone. Soft cooling pine throughout of course. Light finish. Simple old school stuff done well.

Хорошая пиво, но на грани стиля кислой ипы. Приятные ноты фруктовые по началу, затем слегка излишняя сладость как по мне, а хочется кислинки цитрусовой стилистической.

Vibrant punchy notes of pineapple and melon, citrusy lemon and grapefruit with a splash of of lime, light hop spice, grass, pine, soft semi creamy pale malty support, refreshing light bitter hoppy finish. Lovely pale.

CBJ Tasting. Oily cola brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma has creamy coffee with a light boozy edge. Flavourwise is similar with more booze. Light-medium bodied. Soft very fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish.

Rich dark malts, nips of vanilla, aged dark fruits. Bit of booze, earthy hop. Warming finish. Not bad.
