Description
Evil Twin Brewing was started up “nomadically” in 2010 by Jeppe Jarnit- Bjergso. In 2012, Jeppe and his family decided to make New York City their home and join the burgeoning local beer scene. In 2016, Jeppe was approached with the opportunity to finally root his ideas & dreams and Evil Twin Brewing NYC was born.
At Evil Twin Brewing NYC we wanted to expand upon the traditions of innovation & further it with the intimacy of a local neighborhood microbrewery. With more control over our recipes, we are able to experiment on new flavors while perfecting the classics.
Collaboration is a huge part of Evil Twin Brewing NYC & we are excited to be able to host & collaborate with all the amazing brewers in NYC and throughout the world within our very own home base! We strive to be a community space for all of Ridgewood and Queens and our goal is that our brewery and taproom becomes a place for locals and beer tourists alike.
Our Queens brewery has been a long time coming & we are thrilled to have a home where our families, friends, and neighbors have a place to share our love for great beer, food & culture with the Ridgewood community, NYC, & the world!

Dark brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Perfumic aroma with maple syrup and vanilla. Light-bodied. Suprisingly light. Sweet molasses, vanilla, maple syrup. Really odd with 13%, sweetness and wateryness. Flavour is ok.

No canning date found. Murky yellow colour, medium-sized white head and lace. Tropical fruits, grapefruit with lurking breadyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Soft palate. Tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, passion fruit in the flavour. Hides ABV suprisingly well. Unfortunately light bready edge so may be several months old.

Reddish colour, small steady pinkish head. Aroma is generic dry, ricey. Light-bodied. Malts, some rice notes, light herbal notes with shallow bitterness. Some sweet notes but dry finish. Drinkable.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, floral and honey nose. Sweet malty, floral, honey, notes of caramel and alcohol with sticky sweet finish. Not fresh and a way too sweet.

Can from Drikbeer at home 10/05/2026 Intense tropical and citrus fruity punchy hits with lots of tangerine and mango, passionfruit, pink grapefruit, pineapple, sitting upon a dense creamy sweet malty backbone with a lovely mouthfeel, some hop spice bite, solid robust hoppy close. Gorgeous.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: milky/cloudy burnt orange color and some noticeable particles floating all around the body with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: wonderful blend of sweet to bitter orange creamy to grapefruity sweet to creamy hop content with a super mild clean malty semi-biscuity character
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet semi-pulpy sweet sort of quality; finishes semi-sweet with a nice bitterness and a touch of juiciness
Texture: medium bodied; slightly a sipper; good smoothness and a good low carb and hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done NETIPA worth coming back to.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and a quickly dissipating brown foamy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: big milk chocolatey/fudgy-like scents with marshmallow/vanilla sweetness, some nutty sweet to toasted nuttiness; sweet wafer-like malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to an indulgent variety of different sweet levels; finishes sticky sweet through all the aromas
Texture: medium to full bodied; this is a sipper; pretty smooth along the tongue with some stickiness but nothing cloying; good carb level
Overall: a very decadent impy stout - highly enjoyable and I would welcome again and not bad on a cold Spring evening.
