Description
Sit back, relax and have a CEAUX-Brew!

Looks very good with its creamy tan head. Aroma of malts, coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice. Flavour is roasty, only a slight hint of sweetness and susprisingly sour! Nice oatmeal stout.

Aroma of biscuity malt, rye, peppery yeast, caramel, hint of hop. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Okay, but I expected a little more.

From tap at De Zaak, Utrecht. Ugly murky looking. Aroma of ripe fruits, cacao, some roast, some candy. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Curious mix of flavours. Interesting beer, but not a complete success.

16/IV/21 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 31/XII/22 (2021-297)
Clear deep orange to almost amber beer, small creamy bit irregular off-white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very smoky, very peated, bit chemical, smells like apothecary, slightly rubbery, bit weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: smoky start, super peated, chemical, bit sweet, caramel, lots of alcohol. Aftertaste: more peated, lots of alcohol, bit chemical, very smoky, more apothecary, band-aid, way too peated, not very balanced.
