Hazy and dull, thin head. This has a lot of phenol, citrus fruit, mild pale malt. The malt is a bit weak to hold up the random hops. I'd say the phenols and general construction of this beer aren't really matching with the style.

473mL can. Pours murky brown with an off-white head. Bread crust and slightly phenolic Belgian yeast on the nose. Flavour is very muted, some Belgian yeast, stale bread. Tastes like the beer was strained in some way to dilute the flavour. Nose was promising, for a North American Belgian style, but the flavour was flat and disappointing.

473mL can. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Chewy malts, Belgian yeast, and tropical fruit on the nose. Flavour has Belgian yeast, cilantro, some salt. A bit gritty. Very weird, not terrible, but not really sure this works.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 04 Dec 2024). Clear-ish bright yellow with small white head. White bread malt with mild dry floral hops. Nothing very interesting here. Average.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Nov 05, 2024). Dark brown with small beige head. Belgian yeast, burnt sugar, feint dried fruit, the Belgian and porter qualities clash a bit. Okay.

Cask Days 2012.
Golden pour, small white head. Aroma of straight hops, tea, and grass. Very light mouthfeel, some yeasty esters in the flavour, and finish. Quite bitter finish, with touches of tropical fruit,

Hazy amber, with thin head. Smells like plastic and nail polish remover. I still can't get over the fact that the brewer is Belgian...cause they never get the ferm right on their Belgian styles. On the palate, more plasticy. The headsy stuff isn't there, but it's thick underfermented pale malt, gloppy and plasticy. When you consider that the benchmark of the style, Westmalle, is hoppy, you wonder what the fuck is going on with brewers in North America who make sticky, underattenuated tripels. You can't just throw some shit in a kettle and hope for the best with styles like this; you have to take your craft seriously.
