33cl bottle. Pours hazy deep orange golden colour with a huge and creamy off-white head. Aroma of smoke, a lot of peat, spices, pepper. Taste of strong malt, smoke, peat, ripe bitter fruits, a lot of hops, very complex, nice!

Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry with reasonable fine carbonation. Airy malts, tangy caramel and a touch of grain. Spicy orange peel with a trace of lemon. Ripe fruits. Light dry finish. Okay.

Bottle, 05.2018 (from beernavigator). Pours amber with huge beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, chili, malt, smoke, cow shit, tar and rubber. Flavor is sweet and bitter, smoke, tar, malt, chili, some citrus. Finish is tar and smoked chili. Covers alcohol surprisngly well. Overall: weird, but I kind of like it in a perverse kind of way. On tap at Cafe de Stad. Thin white head. Very hazy amber pour. Easy drinking.

Draft at De Stad, Utrecht. Very hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of big brett funk (infection I guess), smoky notes, band-aid, caramel, black pepper and malt with some fruity bits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy deep golden colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, wheat, yeast and some spices. Taste of spices, flowers, tropical fruits, medium bitterness, wheat, quite nice!

33cl bottle @ home, in October 2016. Brown color with a red hue, particles floating. Light beige head with good retention. Aroma’s: sweet malt, caramel/toffee, light herbs/spices. Retronasal it’s sweet, toffee, light red fruit, jam. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, malty. Thick mouthfeel, full body, from the rye, I’m assuming. Carbonation is a bit too high, gushing in the mouth. Murky brown color. Off white head with a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: a bit sour, light vomit. Mostly sourish retronasal, with herbs. Flavor is moderate sour, moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Didn’t age so well.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, roasted, charcoal, taste is sweet, chewy toffee, oatmeal, roasted.
