Draft: Orange, lemongrass aroma. Clear amber, thin head. Mandarin orange, rosehips, nice intensity. Medium body, harsh. I bet this would be superb with Chinese food.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sterling VA. Dark brown, with a decent, beige, head. Sweet, milk chocolate and caramel, some roasted malts and a rather thin mouth feel. Finish was toasty. Fine overall.

Tap. Pours clear chestnut, small beige head, some lacing. Aroma is begotten yeast, raisin, candi sugar, date, clove. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Solid quad, a bit high on the spice palate.

Keg at Beer Run. Hazy amber, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malts and floral hops. The taste is citrus, piney hops, pale toasted malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. Fairly simple.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, light tropical fruit. Tastes of fresh grapefruit and pineapple juice, tropical and citrus fruit, light floral notes, pineapple hard candies. Medium body with a dry finish. Better than I expected!

NIce crisp copper coloured body with a dense, tan three centimetre tall head. Aroma of malt, cardboard, caramel and a very light sugar scent. Light-bodied; Deep pungent malt, metal and very funky flavoured body, most reminiscent of a warm bud lite. Aftertaste shows some light bitterness with some metal and not much else - not too great. Overall, a deep beer that shows more/different flavours and nothing special through the profile. I sampled this twelve ounce purchase from Total Wine on Alexandria, VA for US$8,99 / six pack, sampled at home in Washington on 25-September-2015.

Keg at Sedona Charlottesville. Hazy golden, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, grapefruit and a mild pithy finish. The taste is fresh grapefruit, zest, pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. Nice.
