Description
Created in 2003 by Christophe and Alexia Noyon, the Brasserie Artisanale des 2 Caps, when it started, had a dual vocation: that of giving a new economic dimension to the small family farm to make it sustainable and that of maintaining the remarkable built heritage, that constitutes the Ferme de Belle Dalle.
Thanks to the work and passion of the men and women who compose it, it now has real know-how, which has been rewarded multiple times in competitions. Over the years, the quality and finesse of its beers have attracted a growing number of palates in search of authenticity.

33 cl. bottle. Very dark brown colour, almost black with a big, fluffy head that left a massive lacework behind. Aroma is liquorice, coffee and a slight grassy and floral note. Taste is light bitter with roasted malts, liquorice, coffee and some very weak caramel notes. A bit thin texture for this style with a short, roasted finish.

33 cl. bottle from Brdr. D´s vinhandel, Østerbrogade. Poured in to a snifter. Hazy, golden-yellow colour with a lasting and creamy white head. Very sweet and fruity aroma. Taste is sweet with notes of fruits, lemon and oranges, an earthy note. Medium body with a lively carbonation. Short, fresh and sweet finish. Nice!

Bouteille: Almost black, big rocky tanned head, dry ashy-toasty nose, some sweetness in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied but really soft; drier ashy-bitter finish. Good stuff…

20/12/2011 75cl bottle @ home - BB: 31/12/13 (2011-722) Thanks to Bernard for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy pale beige to yellow beer, white small head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very grainy, oats, some flowers, bit fruity, coriander. MF: good carbon, thin body. Taste: malts, bit sweet, some honey and spices, slightly bitter. Aftertaste: spices, nutmeg, little bitter. It misses the wheat tartness of a good witbier.

Bottle at Nate’s Birthday Bash, thanks to EdKing. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a fluffy white head. The nose is spice, bread and yeast. The taste is sweet orange pith, dough, spice, yeast, earth and some alcohol warmth. Medium body, lively carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Ok, but doesn’t do much for me.

Nate2Gs Birthday Bash at Kernel. Cheers to Ed King for this one. Hazy gold beer, good off white head. Light palate - a little soft and a little dry. Sweetish caramel malt. Just a bare trace of hops. Soft froth finish. Ok if somewhat one dimensional.
