12 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head settles to a creamy cap. Mild pumpkin pie spices in the nose. Light, bready malt flavor is accented by notes of cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg. Light bodied and drinkable. Some spicy hops on backend.

A crowler from JR's. I assume this is ecru from the description and the ABV which is 7.8%, there was no indicator on the the label except crayon box and the description on the menu which matches the description here. Smell is sweet sickening perfume, like your favorite mate who forgot to take a shower and just threw on some cheap perfume. Look is hazy IPA fer sure. Taste is big sweet milky IPA with a backbone that is so cloyingly sweet, it almost makes me want to gag. I wish I didn't get a crowler of this, its pretty dog-gone rude. Straight up IPA BS with an unnatural amount of sweetness. Difficult, nasty, abysmal, adverse. alarming, angry, annoyances. Aggressive arrogant boastful and bossy. Palate is IPA boring, careless, clingy and cruel. What else can be said except its like any other stupid straight up ass IPA with an exceptional amount of clinging cloying mouth coating sweetness. Whew. Did I already say I regret buying a crowler? Happy poppycock bullshit.

16 ounce can. Slightly hazed honey gold color. Rocky white head. Citrus hop nose hints at tangerine and dish detergent. Sharp bitter citrus notes upfront. Orange peel and caraway seeds. Bittersweet, grainy and spicy. Decent.

Hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish tan head, only a centimetre or so tall - fairly small. Aroma of crisp apricots and peaches along with some bright hops that don't seem bitter at all, but also a bit of alcohol and grain. Medium-bodied; Assertive grainy malt flavour with a little biscuity flavour along with some hops which don't show much bitterness and all underpinned by some more obtuse alcohol flavours near the end. Aftertaste shows a good balance of malt and hops that stay on the more malty side of things with biscuits and yeast throughout. Overall, a nice and well-structured beer and doesn't show as much hops as I'd expect or for the style, but the balance is there and this one shows more of a kick from the fruits and sugars than anything else, but is nice and not assertive, pungent or astringent. Nice to sample, considering that I can't find this beer often, but aside from that, probably not worth trying to find. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 08-March-2018 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Monroe, Connecticut with my brother & sister-in-law, a day later on 09-March-2018.

Bottle at home. Weird one but I’m digging it. Tastes like mash at a whiskey distillery. Brighter orange than expected. Nose is malt and toast. Tastes similar with some caramel and faint fruit. Brings up fond memories.
