We aren't defined by one style of beer, because at our brewery, we brew a touch of everything from traditional, technically-sound, delicate lagers to spontaneously fermented and intentionally blended barrel-aged sours and every style in between. When it comes to our BBQ, we draw inspiration from many different styles, including St. Louis, Texas, the Carolinas, but most importantly, our juicy, slow-smoked BBQ is inspired by our Team's creativity and you.

(bottle) clear very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of chocolate, brown sugar; pleasant spicy, balanced flavour with a long, medium spicy finish
Sample at The Ohio Taproom. The beer pours a clear brownish-amber color with a medium thick beige head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, roast malt and yeast. The finish is soft with a mildly sour fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.
Bottle: Pours dark amber-gold with a tall, vanilla-white head. Lemon, banana, wheat aroma. Taste is wheat malt, citrus, yeast, orange malt. Ok...but very lifeless...... No brightness or zing anywhere in this one.
Brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy golden with no head. Aroma is nice tart, medium body, low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is tart oak malt.
Bottle. Earthy orange malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Moderately bitter earthy grapefruit peel and sweet tangerine malt flavor. Good - nice earthiness.
From a bottle this is a very good mild ale that is sizzly and fun. Easy going and not too bad. Very good mild tartness makes it easy to like. Mild aroma of straw in there. Yes, perhaps it seems a little watery at first but the tart sensations build thru the session. Has just a tad of dullness on the finish but overall a very good beer experience. Would like to get a case of this for myself.
22oz bottle pours out a hazy orangeish amber topped with a small head. Nose is tart berries funk and lots of barrel. Taste is more of the berries tartness and some vinegar.
Bottle: Clear, deep copper with a faint white ring. Cherry, slight raspberry scent. Taste is tangy, watery, cherry malt. Light...washed-out feeling....very mild...weak..... The name pretty well sums it up.
Bottle: Clear, deep brown with red tint...short tan head. Chocolate, vanilla bean aroma. Taste is silky, sweet coffee malt, vanilla, milk chocolate....cream. Really tasty.
