On tap at WABF 2024, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with bready malt, some crusty notes, and subdued hops. Flavour is lightly hopped, with medium roast, earthy hops, and English bready malt. Doesn't taste like a black IPA or an English dark ale (the style it was called at this beer fest). For such an apparently seemingly beer, this is pretty forgettable and lacking oomph.

Caged and corked 750 I found in the back of my beer fridge. Plastic cork came off with barely a pop LIght brown sweet malts, some old wet paper grocery bags character and a drab sweet toasted maltiness. A bit of the Belgian yeast as well. Not Great

Recently visited Centralia, amd while I did not make it to Dick's Brewing, I did stop into a mini mart nearby, amd picked up a six pack of this to keep in the hotel refrigerator. 3 bottles survived my one night stay, and I've enjoyed them since, and this bottle im enjoying as I write this, is my last of the pack. No bottle date, and I'm not sure how fresh this is despite just buying it a week ago, but it pours a cloudy golden, dense with sediment. Tons of loose foam head. Aroma is soft bready malts and juicy hops. Quite the bitter citrus peel hop front to this IPA. Grapefruit for sure. Has a slight bite. Quite a flavorful IPA. Has a juicy side, but this certainly fits more to the bold and bitter IPA style. Solid IPA from these guys. Looking forward to trying more next time I'm in town, when ill definitely have time to visit the brewpub.

Bottle: Deep brown ....see-throu when backlit, small tan head. Aroma of melted chocolate and cocoa. Taste is slightly lactic, roasty dark chocolate malt. A bit of earthy bittering. Pretty nice, overall.
