Small yellow rim over hazy amber beer. Sweet, nutty, some wood, caramel. Sweet, caramel, parsley, human sweat. Ultra light impression, watery feel. Vriê plezaant, da woater.

Bottle thanks to my good friend Sjors. Hazy amber brown color, medium sized beige head. Sweetish floral aroma. Taste malts, sweetish, a bit floral. Moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad.

Arendonks streekbier. Licht zurig met bittere afdronk. Fijn terras naast Kempisch Kanaal.

Lichtbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van kaneel en kiwi. Helaas iets te waterig anders was dit zeker beter gewaardeerd. Is ondanks dat zeker niet slecht.

Bottle. pours clear blonde, ok white head fades instantly. Smell is weak, some grains... taste is bit bitter, overripe fruit, in a sharp, bitter way rather than the heavy, sweet, almost creamy characters you usually get. Slightly off though, seems like something went a touch wrong in the fermentation here. No aftertaste at all.

9/I/16 - 33cl bottle from Bierfestival Onder 't Schuim (Geel) @ Akke's place - BB: VII/2016 (2016-18)

Clear amber beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: banana, sweet touch, caramel, malty, some mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit metallic, yeast, quite some banana, caramel, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: malty, some caramel, bit of chocolate, little bitter.

Pours clear, dark chocolate brown. Unstable white head. Smell is bit caramely, some herbs. Taste is weak, very weak for the ABV ( paired with a low MF ) but nice on its own. It consists of notes of chocolate, caramel, earthyness, spices, sweetness, (roasted) malts, and a mild bitterness. Carbo is on the high side, but not too high. Would say its a pretty average beer, which is nothing bad, the market is simply overcrowded by these beers in Belgium. I’m leaving 0,1 out though, just because of the thin mf and lack of intensity, in a beer of 8,5 %

33cl Bottle from Prik&Tik Baelus. Dark brown colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel, cocoa, light dusty, malty, some dark fruits, brown sugar. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, brown sugar, dark fruits, some chocolate, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied, firm carbonation. Nice enough Abbey Dubbel.

At ’bierweekend de lambiekstoempers ’ . Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit hoppy, grainy. Taste is to the bitter side. Notes of sweet grains.
