Flavor is plain, un-IPAlike, and boring... to me, at least. Not really hoppy or malty, and no sweetness, or bitterness for that matter.

A 12-oz single cost me $1.49 at Whole Foods in Charlottesville. Pours nearly opaque with a giant brown head. Aroma is full of deep roasted nuts, coffee, bitterness... ahhh. I need a candle that smells this good. Flavor is a lot thinner than I had expected- though still good. Not overly bitter, but full of cold coffee and chocolates. Tasty, but not strong.

The way I describe the color os this is brownish green- though my companions said they saw no green. I guess it’s more of a deeper honey/olivish color. Small head. Smells of yeast and honey. Tastes the same- lots of yeastiness all over. Malty.

This beer pours a dark but not quite opaque brown with a medium thin beige head. Thin and quick lacing. The aroma consists of roasted coffee, milk chocolate and malt. Medium-bodied with a nice blend of chocolate, malt, coffee and hops in the flavor, and there was a nice underlying roasted malt aftertaste throughout the glass. The finish is lightly bitter hops. Overall this is an enjoyable Porter, maybe not quite as good as Edmund Fitzgerald or Fuller's but solid all around.

Hazy orange/golden in colour with a large dense off-white head that lasts and lasts. Smells just like an American Pale and has very nice hoppy characteristics. Some malt is also noticeable in the aroma...this is one of the best aromas i've ever come across for the style...if not the best. Strong malt presence with a bit of a hop kick near the end of the taste. Not much with other flavours other than just the strong malt and the hops. Aftertaste a bit bittered from the hops and still reminiscent of the malt. Overall, a decent beer, and one of the best Blonde's I've had! Aroma and appearance are spot-on but the taste is lacking quite a few knocks. Worth picking up if you like the style or are in the mood for a 'lighter' beer. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia.

Slightly hazy golden colour with the smallest of orange tint. A somewhat thick white head with large bubbles rests atop the beer for a few moments. Smells of corn, yeast and wheat all dominate the aroma. Thin to Medium-bodied; Very strong malt flavour with sharp metallic flavours. The strong flavours last well into the aftertaste and take away from the overall enjoyment from the beer. Sweet and malty flavours all take part in the aftertaste as well. Not a great pils, there are much better from the area including: Tuppers Hop Pocket Pils! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Chevy Chase Wine & Liqours in Washington, D.C. I will try this again to hopefully get the beer that everyone else who rated this beer had...but this wasn't it! I'm curious to see what people say about this batch as well though!

Thanks urbnhautebourg! I love getting my hands on micros like this. Pretty autumn color with a thin white head. Vanilla and figs in the aroma which I liked. This is one of the better Pilseners I have tried to date. Hoppy and fresh-tasting.
