21 August 2021. At Gents Bierfestival. Cheers to the Ghent beer crew! Clear red, thin, off-white head. Aroma of sour plum, redcurrant, raspberry, sourdough, lemon acid, blood orange juice. Taste has sour plum, lemon, actual citrus flesh, bit funky, sourdough malt. Tart, funky vinegar & woody finish, vague sharp fruits. Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation. Indeed feels very young & fresh, so tart but so drinkable.

Bottle sample during Gents Bierfestival '21 - shared with Tderoeck and Nathan.

Pours dark amber, with an almost red hue. Scent is full, funky, strong woody, medium strong funk. Taste is intense, full, oaky. Tad buttery (not troublesome) . Very decent.

No head, pale terra cotta coloured beer, still. Fruity, rosehips, raspberry - weird as this is not a fruited beer. Sour, very woody, and hardly any fruity notes in the flavour. Bit lactic and a fine hint at acetic. Sharpish flavour and MF, no carbonation whatsoever. Not bad, but as a geuze it's a loeierik.

21/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle @ Gents Bierfestival (Gent), BB: n/a, bottled: VIII/2021 (2021-xxx)
Clear reddish beer, practically no head. Aroma: clear, funky, nice, bit dirty, brett notes, ok. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, gentle bitterness, bit oxidized, acidic, fruity, dry, spicy. Aftertaste: dry finish, some tannins, spicy touch, herbal notes, nice stuff!
