Bottle, ginormous thanks Zhenya! Bit hazy amber body, some carbonation, off-white head. Dry, bretty, herbal aroma, low white grapes. Lean, dry taste, citric, bretty, herbal, looow low estery touch somewhere but low cheese too. Quite drinkable, well executed!

0.75l bottle, huge thanks Zhenya! Hazy deep amber body, off-white thick head. Hugely bretty funky aroma, dry, bit of smoke at best at first. Lean, smooth dry bretty, funky taste with smoke along the edges, maybe just lightly cheesy, minerally, bitterish, low low tartness. Well made, elegant!

Sampled at Billies day 1, think this was from bottle so shared by someone. Thanks whoever it was. A bit hazy yellow orange color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are sour, balanced sourness, light unripe yellow fruit and citrus. Pleasant beer. I like it! 5-7-8,5-9-8

Bottle indicates Sallands as commissioned brewer Furious gushing to enormous, reddish beige head, very stable over almost black beer. Coffee, yes, and something perfumey but at the same time artificial smelling, plastic of some kind. Wood, liquorice. Coffee, roast, liquorice. Faint sourish (stout-?) lining. Flavour is free of the artificial streak - but also less aromatic. Feels better bodied than it probably is. Overcarbonated, slick. It's not unmeritorious, but it might have turned out a lot better. Sallands ought to do better than this CO² bomb.

Bottle. Got this blend, still unlabeled, a few months ago from John himself. Spent some months in my cellar, until today. According to John, it's ready to drink by now. Color: Clear orangish golden, thin frothy off-white head. Aroma: Some fruity tartness but also a little sweetness. Oak wood, subtle funky. Taste: Nice mix of moderate tartness, fruity (gooseberry, citrus fruit) Geuze, subtle vanilla-like sweetness, oak wood, subtle floral notes and subtle wild yeast funk. Bit minerally and some old hop at the finish. Low carbonation. Medium body. Dry-ish, a bit astringent, mouthfeel. Not that complex but a nice, well balanced mix of flavors. Have some more bottles in the cellar, so we'll see how it will age.
