Superficial tasted @ Håntverkeren juleølfestival. Black body under a thin beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, coffee and whisky. Taste is sweet, medium roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee, balanced bitterness, warming whisky alcohol and some oak. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice, perhaps a bit sharp edged but a fine sipper.

Drukket på Bergstua. Stråfarget. Litt uklar. Filmskum. Gressaroma. Smaken mais & brøddeig. Lett tørr avslutning. Vel mye på den søte side.

Can, at Kristiansand Juleølfestival. It's an almost black one, unclear, with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a pleasant touch of oak and whisky. It's full-bodied, soft and warming, not too sweet, with some balancing bitterness. The flavor too is mostly roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee, backed up by oak and booze. Some tannins. Quite a lot of chcolate actually, stretching out into the lasting finish. Feels a bit young this one, else it's a delicious beer indeed. 241102

From can at Minimø, Mini-Molde-ølfestival, 11.10.24. Ebony. Beige head and lacing. Strong aroma and taste of tobacco, burnt circuits boards, creosote, smoked sausages and bonfire. They seem to have been to generous with the smokedmalt for a baltic porter,

Solid powerful beer. Quite nice in the summer sun outside the brewery. And watching a small plane try to land at the field below. Clear deep golden and a small layer on top Fine intensity in the aroma. Tad sweet, but an ok bitterness to back it up. Fruity, hoppy, pine and a solid malt base in the flavor. [On tap @ source]
