Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a clear pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy and pleasant. The flavor is sour and tangy with a hint of light roasty malts and a sour tangy finish. There is a hint of pepper.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sour, tangy and sugary and is not at all good. The flavor is sugar and an almost grape like tangy finish. Not good.

A hazy orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a somewhat sharp hop note. The flavor is very light with hints of malt, and a somewhat stronger note of hops. A boring beer, can only be used for refreshment, even on a humid Danish summer day.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Somewhat fat, caramelish nose. Light and watery body with vague notes of caramel malt. Basically no bitterness. Thin indeed. 250606

A hazy red-brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel - and so is the flavor. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Taster from bottle, at the Balmoral Brewhaha. Nice amber taste with a good fresh hop head that usually isn’t fouind in a bottled beer -- not close to the new mown grass of a 3Floyd’s, but still fresh, a bit piney and balanced with the caramel malts. Had a tiny black taster cup, that’s about all I can say.

Taster at the Balmoral Brewhaha. A sharp, clean northwestern hop hit made me peg this as a Pale Ale. But no, I see it down as a Blond. Very close, either way. The malt base is a little light, and plays well of the featured hops. Regrettably, our taster cups were solid black, so I couldn’t tell you much about how it looks, except for a nice skimmer of foam on top. But it’s very nice on a warm, humid summer’s evening and lets me prepare for the more off-kilter beers at this event.

Taster at the Balmoral Brewhaha. Got to this pretty late in the evening, while I was pouring. So my notes are a bit sketchy. Couldn’t gather too much of the smell, only that it was a fine "beer" character. Taste turned out to be rather yeasty, surprising for a beer that I would presume to have been pasteurized and carbonated… or is it? Still, some fine dark roasty malts and a contrasting German hop profile make this a solid example of the style.
