$2.00 can from Beer Run. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a soft white head. Aroma is sweetly floral, cardboard, grain. Flavor is very grainy - cereal, almost dog/cat food; light floral hops, wheat, chlorine, light grasses. Not bad - lots more flavor than most pale lagers.

Not a bad pale ale from Abita, not as juicy as advertised but that's not entirely a bad thing. More bitterness here than expected, featuring an herbal, piney back end with enough clingy hops to dip a toe into IPA territory. Lemondrop, grapefruit, and subtle passion fruit/mango notes add a fruity undertone, while the back end grows semisweet and citric. Malts add a mild biscuit base. Pours a hazed gold with a healthy white head and tons of lacing. Nose lacks much of a punch, but the textures creamy and easygoing. Nice pint.

3 week old can A: Murky dark yellow with 1/2" of foam retaining and lacing well. Opaque but not that dreaded milkshake shit. S: Orange/grapefruit pith and a little caramel. T: Bittersweet bright hops at first sip with a lot of grapefruit pith and a sort of honeyed sweet note. A hint of alcohol makes it taste stronger than it is. M: Light to medium body with crisp carbonation and a dry finish. O: Well balanced affordable hoppy ale from a widely distributed brand means this could become a go to for many. Well worth a try.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Menomonee Falls. Murky orange, large foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of tropical fruit, grapefruit, pale malt. Taste is resin, grapefruit, lime, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Good in the sense it achieves what it sets out to do, mainly taste a lot like an Old Fashioned. As a beer, though...very sweet, almost cloy thanks to the bittering element and the cherries, with mild citrus notes perched atop a vast sea of bourbon. Herbs and vanilla mesh with a heavily oaked fade. Again, it does taste like an old fashioned, but nothing like a beer, which makes me wonder the point of the whole thing. Eh.

Can: Clear gold with a large, off-white head. Aroma of sweet corn, lemon, grain. Taste is light, pils malt, mild peppery hops, lemon. Really pleasant....a nice, light, hoppy lager.

12 oz can. Hazy pale gold colored pour with a large white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Light hoppy nose. Crisp mouthfeel. Taste is grainy pilsner malts with a soft background hops bitterness that matches the nose. This is more pilsner than pale lager. A little too much "club soda" body for me.

On tap at The Barn, SD. Dark golden with a small head. Thin with some raspberries and some light malt. The finish was on the sweet side.
