Can shared in London - thanks to Paul. Pours black-brown with a thick, creamy beige head. The nose has lots of dark fruits, raisins, grape, chocolate. Medium sweet with rich bread, brownies, lots of dried dark fruits, light tangy leathery berries, gooey chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish with more lightly tangy, leathery fruits, char, cocoa. Very nice.

Can shared at Craig’s. It pours near black with a decent tan head. The nose is old copper pennies, roasty, salted liquorice, treacle, toast and dirt. The taste is roasty, mild acidity, toasty, some acidity, coffee cake treacle, oily, dark fruits, salty and malty extract with a dry, salty finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily, thick mouth-feel. Thick body, but no depth....odd. Not all too bad though.

Keg at Brussels Beer Cafe, KL. It pours black with a thick, creamy beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, cocoa acidity and general creaminess. The taste is smooth, roasty, some acidity, toast, light bitterness and coffee.....not a lot else really! Pretty drying on the finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Guinness clone for sure. Not bad, just very basic stuff.
