Bottle at home, split with and thanks to James, 05/05/17. Golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is old shcool ... caramel, straw, grains, light hop dusting, vague citric notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange peel, melon, straw, light bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with very moderate hop bitterness. So so affair, hop expression is muted and it never really pulls out of 2nd gear.

500ml bottle, 2017 version. Pours deep brown. Floral, orange, caramel, pepper, lemon. Big full body. Good, but a little too sweet.

0.33l bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, pine, apricot and some earthy hops. Taste of bread, orange zest, pine and apricot jam. Nice one.

opalescent golden colour, medium sized off-white head; aroma and taste of malty-caramel sweetness, tropical fruity notes and some pine resins; great IIPA!

Bottle from Yamaya. A little old. Soft, chocolaty malt, rich, caramel, some berries, a bit oxidized. Cloudy dark brown, low thick head. Lots of cocoa, berries, light roast. Very well balanced, great chocolate malt but not very sweet. Peppery, bitter finish works well. Body is a bit light, but smooth. Nicely done overall.

Pour Is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is more herbal than estery, that is not a bad thing but it is quite different. I do get the hibiscus and some green herbs. Flavor is A big time green tea and some lemon lime bitterness at the back of the tongue. This beer should probably be classed more in the herb, spice vegetable category than a saison. Still this was quite solid albeit different from your usual saison. Also, I’m a bit leery about getting beers from so far away but this seems to be holding up quite well.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter havre, mørk sjokolade, kakaopulver og noe vanilje. Middels pluss i fylde. Mørk sjokoladebitterhet er i forgrunnen, havre, mørkt brød og noe brent karamel.

Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. This was a lively one, Hazy amber colour big foamy head. Aroma yeasty and caramel, tobacco, and black tea, not a hoppy IPA. Taste yeasty, sweet, ok but not what i expected.
