7/10

Bottle. Clear gold color with a medium white herad that has decent retention. The aroma is big and bold with fresh citrus, oranges and grapefruit. The taste is grapefruit, oranges and some pine. The malt base is lightly bready. The palate is full and crisp. Finishes long and dry with some mango and papaya. Overall: Decent IPA won't hesitate to buy again.

Bottle split at Beer Ditch, Malmo, 18/11/22. (2021 Bottle). Rich mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins edgewards. Nose is dried fruit rinds, figs, syrup, toffee, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises dark malts, honey, sugars, spice, toffee, dates, figs. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Can't believe I'd never rated this ... had scoped before!

Old-school IPA, resinous and piney as hell, with modest notes of caramel, wet grain, citrus, melon, and good weed. Finishes with lingering notes of grapefruit zest and a sturdy bitterness.
