On tap at Kona Brewing - Hawaii Kai, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, bitter citrus peel, and a touch of pine. Flavour is very old school, with grapefruit rind, citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Plenty of grapefruit peel and a nice crisp finish. Pleasantly constructed old school IPA.

On tap at Kona Brewing - Hawaii Kai, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige bead. Aroma brings out slightly sweet dark fruits, some brown sugar, and bready malt. Flavour is malty and gently sweet, with dark fruits, bready malt, and dry toasted caramel. Pleasantly constructed, nice malts, but a bit too sweet. Decent.

Flavour is crisp and fruity, with citrusy hops, some tropical fruitiness a little pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Crisp, fruity, bitter and citrusy finish. Good.

Draft @ SK Oceans, Osaka. Clear gold with a good white head. Aroma of lemons. Taste of lemons, malts and some mild grapefruits. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. I’m usually not too keen on Blonde Ales but this one manages to be highly drinkable without being too bland. Would make for a great summer/beach beer I reckon.

Bottle at Applebee's: yeah you read that right. I had a bottle of this mediocre blonde at Applebee's. The beer was about as unmemorable as the tasteless chicken wonton tacos I had.
