Decent beer, very safe mass produced beer. Tastes nice but very tame. Sk lb pack

Aroma of beer jerky smoked in molasses, not that that's a bad thing. Pretty good black body and okay beige nitro foam on top. Flavour is mellow sweet meaty barley, smooth but with little character. Full enough finish but still rather unintrusive. Probably works for some people but you won't remember it.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, cherry and raspberry. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, ash, black currant, raspberry and cherry in a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. A simple fruit beer. Could use some bitterness to balance out the sweetness.

On tap as Frankincense & Myrrh Ale. Pale, opaque, has a nitro head. The aroma is quite spicy, maybe a little more nuance to the palate. Definitely an inchoate yeast bomb sort of thing, though.

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with tan head. Very mild chocolate, dominant blueberry and blackberry, hint of raspberry. A decent fruit beer, wouldn’t classify as a porter.

Similar to the Old Black Bear with the dark fruits. However this is NOT a porter, it has no roast. Another in a long line of underwhelming beers from Big Rock Urban

Growler - Light pale malts and dark grains. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Light bitter grains with a long bitter finish. Obviously a bittering Hop as it has no real nose or flavour.

Hazy blond color. Quite nice crisp malt aroma. Lean and dry mouthfeel, some hay and cereals flavor, resiny hops, too much astringency in the final.

Pale, golden, thin head. Mellow hop, touch of pear, orange, light body, mellow toasty notes, biscuit, earthy bitterness. Good, balanced golden.
