Draught. Light yellow pour with white head. Piney aroma. Light body and strength than a IPA but with an aroma and finish like an IPA

12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Medium golden pour with foamy head, fades to thin skin of foam. Aroma and taste lean heavily on the malts, biscuits, bread. Smooth and creamy. Faint tingle of hops near the back.

From bomber to pint glass. Pours copper and clear with moderate head. Everything is restrained, but nothing is bad.

Always impressed by flavor forward porters, this is definitely one, chocolate upfront heavily, roasted malt lingering behind, bourbon nose. A great one.

12 oz can poured. Excited to finally visit these guys next month. Definitely an IPA on the malt side with this brew. Darker copper pour with some patchy foam head and lacing. Some semi rich malt on the nose. Pleasant. Flavor is some soft spice. An array of malt flavor here. Earthy hop addition. A mild IPA here overall. Not overly bitter. Not overly sweet. Drinks nice. Enjoyable IPA for sure.

On tap at McKays, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle cocoa and earthy malt. Flavour is very subdued, with cocoa upfront, with a toasted malt finish. Light palate, with a cocoa-y finish. Okay.

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is light bourbon, vanilla, and lots of chocolate. Extremely dark brown with light penetrating along the edg,es and a medium, heavy lacing, tan head. Flavor is chocolate, vanilla, and hints of coffee and bourbon. Nice!

On tap at McKay's Taphouse, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and subdued piney hops. Flavour is very fruity, with stone fruits, piney hops, resins, and toasted biscuity malt. Wonderful balance between fruity hops and biscuity malt. This is excellent.

Crowler from Growler Guys. Medium Amber with light fluffy head. Hoppy aroma, piney. Taste has the hops forward, with some nice caramel malts filling in behind. Pretty standard for a classic IPA.

22 oz bottle poured. Dark near reddish brown pour. Rocky tan foam head. Chocolate forward aroma as expected. Chocolate cream body, flavor is a milk chocolate front. Toasty malt throughout, but they did a good job making this a constant true chocolate porter, front to back. Not really sweet either. Solid.
