Tap at OBF 2015. Pours gold with with a foamy off-white head. Aroma has lots of hop, hint of yeast. Med body or so. Flavor, well, the usual Belgian suspects, obscured a bit by a lot of citrus/earthy hops. Decent drink, but somehow not exciting.

Bottle, thanks Felipe! Pours opaque black with a small brown head that mostly dissipates to a decent residual and nice lacing. Aroma is very coffee forward, espresso, a bit of tobacco and roasted malt. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, roasty with a nice coffee note, some mocha flavors as well. Rich roast without being burned. A touch of acidy from the roast, but not bad at all. Fullish body, creamy mouthfeel. This is a good one.

Tap at the 2014 OBF. Pours amber with a foamy tan head. Aroma is sort of herb with light roasty malt. Med body. Flavor isn’t very fruity. More herb. Somewhat roasty malt. It finishes neither dry nor bitter. Not the typical "light" California common.
