Thick black pour - the description had me expecting gimmick beer hell, but this is nice - dense, aromatic, and flavorful - the nose has chocolate, moderate whiskey, smoke, char - thick, slick mouthfeel - flavor is slightly on the boozy side, but itβs tasty - chocolate, spicy oakiness , vanilla, smoke, dark fruit, cookie dough - finish is a little hot, but I like it.

Tap at the brewery - listed at 9.5% - smells strongly of alcohol (hairspray) and caramelized malts/sugars - Flavor is thankfully not as alcoholic, but it is rather thin in body and flavor - Caramelized sugar, alcohol, a little bit of spiciness and dough - meh.

Tap at the brewery - lightly hazy gold - nose is simple, cleanly sweet maltiness and grassy hope, a little bit of pepper and tropical fruit - flavor is sweet, but the sweetness is clean and this is not and ester bomb like a lot of American version - moderate peppery qualities, wildflower, honey, melon - grassy hop character - Finish is quite spicy, with a light alcohol warmth - this is a pretty good attempt.

Tulip at the brewery - I really appreciate the fact that they are producing sours here without using any shortcuts like kettle souring - results in the past have been mixed, but mostly decent - this indicates an improvement in their process - a nice mixture of wild, buggy yeast qualities - yogurt, pineapple, tart white grape, some funk on the tail end - sourness starts moderate and ends high but not palate-destroying - a dry mineral note in the finish and moderate saltiness/savoriness - this is solid.

Tap at the brewery - lightly hazy dark copper - minimal lace - nose is pungent american hoppiness - some tropical character, but also some sprouted garlic, possibly from simcoe or summit additions - no brett character present in the nose - flavor is very sweet, a bit dank - the garlic from the nose is present - brett is not really noticeable, perhaps only present in a mild hint of sulfur - sugary finish - indistinct, but at least not brutish or abrasive.

Tap at the brewery - turbid gold - thick, well-sustained head - nose is a dense tropical and herbal mixture of newer hop strains - definitely some mosaic, possibly citra - nose is nice and punchy, herbal, lightly phenolic - sadly, the flavor lacks the same punch - watery texture - overly sweet flavor, like white.frosting - moderate bitterness, but the hop character is very subdued - little to no belgian character - too bad.

10 ounce at the brewery - clear gold - rather muted, subdued, perhaps even muddled - there are notes of straw, light.barnyard, light acidity, moderate phenolics, toasty grain - however, they are all blurred and buried under a doughy haze - nothing pops - everything is rather indistinct - oh well.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a bit cloudy deep maroon red appearance with a tan head. Candy sugar, plum, figs, buttery noodles, whiskey, and red grapes in the nose. Heavy alcohol. High sweetness. Low bitterness. Decent carbonation. Butterscotch, grape flavor. Some toffee and spice. A bit hard to drink. The other gentlemen at the bar were gushing over this but I just didnβt really like it.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a clear reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Cocoa, cola, marshmallows, and light roast in the nose. Dull carbonation. Moderate light sweetness. Dull bitterness. Very low carbonation, God dammit. The flavor is nice and chocolate forward with a bit of coconut and vanilla but again, undercarbed.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy dull golden appearance with a thin cream head. Big tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, bubblegum, light vinous aroma. Dull carbonation. Lightly tart. A hint of metal in the mouth along with a ton of candy, bubblegum, and tropical fruit. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Wish it was carbonated more.
