Tap @ De Heeren van Liedekercke. Clear golden with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, earthy and moderate hoppy - grass and herbal. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120714

Rating from memory, as I have tasted this in 2007 and I am not sure this is still brewed (after all, the "Fanfare Sint-Vincentius" has been in existence for 106 years now, so if Herberg still produces this, I guess they would have to change the name every year...). Thin but stable, off-white head, colour a deep brownish amber with quite conspicuous and not very attractive protein veils in the end; aroma weak, some orange, peach, toast, white pepper; taste begins with a soft fruitiness, rounded on a caramel-malt basis, typically ’Belgian’, spicy yeast notes, end rather disappointing due to the lack of hop bitterness to balance the yeastiness.

Zomerbierfestival 14 Pours fuzzy blonde , big white head smell is bit sweet, yeasty Way too much carbo ( again ) making it very hard to enjoy this beer . Bitter, bit grainy , and some sweetness in the taste

Bouteille 75cl @ RBBSG III. Not sure this one is gonna get Cantillon Blauw trade value at DHVL. Orangé, col blanc. Arôme de grains, léger biscuité, houblonné noble rappelant un Hallertauer légèrement fleuri. Palais de grains concassés, biscuité, cara dark crystal? houblonné amer très euro ajoutant un fruité et fleuri minime avec un fini légèrement biscuité qui sauve un peu le tout.

Bit cloudy orange beer, aery off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: spicy, bit fruity, floral touch, bit sweet, citrus, more spices. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, bit fruity, spicy touch, banana peel, some citrus. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, dry, bit grassy, spices, coriander, banana, decent but nothing exciting.

Draught at De Heeren van Liedekercke. Clear deep golden liquid with a medium off-white head. Aroma of earthy hops, flowers, bread, dried fruit and toast. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread and flowers. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out barnyard funk, Belgian yeast, and hay. Flavour is very dry and funky, with loads of zest, hay, barnyard notes, and Belgian yeast. Highly drinkable, with a very dry palate with no residual sugars. Excellent.

Zo had deze 75 cl al een tijdje staan in de kast en tijdens de verjaardag van t vrouwtje maar even ontdopt. Geel/gouden met prikkelende witte kraag. Aroma van stro/hooi, gras, koriander, tarwe en graan en iets funky. Smaken zijn citrus redelijke kruidigheid matig zoet licht bittertje zwak moutig en koriander en sinaasappel Matige body, prikkelende co2, Prima te drinken echter zat ik meer in de richting van een saison de denken dan aan een tarwe/wit bier.

ZBF Pours rather clear amber Small white foam Smell has some funky brett Taste is bitter , funky , hay, bit brett . Rather high carbo . Sweet background
