33cl bottle from a convenience shop at Denham,. No sell by date - but batch 212 - manufactured in 12/11 - so well past its best. Pale amber with a loose white head; malty aroma; caramel malt taste; with a touch of cardboard to finish. An interesting find!

Bottle: Clear, bubbly gold with a soft white head. Scent is light, sweet grain malt...lemon. Taste is cider-like, tangy apple, lemon. A little stale, but still fairly sharp bodied. Much better than Hercules Lager.

Jan 2007: Blind tasting, what the hell is it? Almost clear, golden yellow, very pale though, before I touch it, I am thinking Euro lager. Aroma, wheat, flowers of some sort, still thinking Europe, is it a crap supermarket German wheat beer? What is that flavour and do I like it? No, not really. A mix of tastes, cereals (rye, wheat, etc), with a dryness that I find unpleasant. The mouthfeel does nothing for me either, not a beer I will be trying again. It is supposed to be a Premium Lager, couldn’t tell that. The 650ml brown bottle claims Aloe Vera is in the mix, I’ll wash my hair with it next time, rather than drink it.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a very small white head. It smells of light, grainy malt. The flavor is sweet, smooth, grainy malt. There’s some light hops bitterness in there. It’s not too, too bad.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. So, the finest German malt and hops turn into: Pours gold with a foamy white head. LIghtly bready aroma with mild grassy/floral hop. Medium body, light sharpish carbonation. Flavor is a little bready, and then the hop bitter takes over. The hop is more herby than grassy, but it’s there. No particular heat to notice. Not my preference, but better than many malt liquors. I’d drink it all, if nothing better was around.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours very light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is mildly sweet with a barest hint of grass. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lightly bready with grassy bitter. It’s at least as good as Bud, I’d say, but I haven’t had Bud in years, so? Finishes with a more herby bitter and a touch of paper. It’d chase food down.

Pour is a really pale gold with a large white head. Aroma is almost nothing just some vegitable and even that is hard to detect. Flavor is again nothing just some adjunts. I knew that this would suck i just picked it up to fill out my mix-a-six.

Bottled. An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and with primary notes of straw, while the flavor is sweet malty and again with strong notes of straw. Boring.
