Bottle@yesprs - Aroma and taste is sweet dark malty with opulent chocolate notes, some caramel and treacle sweetness, resonating bourbon throughout, some dark dried fruit, slight charred smoked burnt malty offset with a sweet vanilla close.

bottle sourced from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours dark amber brown with a nice beige covering. Sweet malty aroma and taste with a plethora of dried fruit, some caramel, treacle, brown sugar, yeasty and spicy accents into the close, tasty stuff.

Tart and sour, fruity, a bit sweet. Red cherries, apricot, lime, fairly acidic. Rich and complex, not quite what I expected but very tasty, excellent.

Sour, tart and intense with some acidic notes, hints of jammy stonefruits, cherries and earthiness. Slightly funky and earthy. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cable Car Veritas Kriek Pien Megablend on 01 Dec 2019 at 17:50 - Score: 10

Bottle at home, happy bday to me. Pours reddish copper with a quickly disappearing tan head. Nose is big, jammy raspberry, moderately spicy wood, light to moderate malty notes, light lactic acid, more prominent acetic acid, leather, earth and funk. Taste is rich and deep funk, earthy notes, leather, spice and acetic acid with a lighter fruit character. Eccesively sour, has a dry body and the dryness is especially apparent in the finish. Sophisticated and rather enjoyable.
