Bottle, 75cl corked. A dark brown to black beer topped by a dense, small, dark beige head. Boozy aroma with licorice and roasted malts, some brown sugar and a spiced, star anise perhaps, woody hint. Itβs full-bodied and smooth on the palate, warming and quite sweetish, with roasted malts, licorice, brown sugar and some notes of cellar and stale malts. Lasting spiced, roasted finish with a sugary touch. Nothing special going on, and too spiced for my liking. 160130

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, pale golden in color and with a small, white head. The aroma is quite weak, with apples doing most of the work. Some white sugar in the flavor, some apples and a touch of grass. Medium body, soft carbonation, almost sticky. A faint citric acidity too. Not my kind of drink in any way. Not all bad, but not really good either. 160130

Bottle. A clear, dark pinkish amber colored beer with a small, off-white head. Buttery, cake-ish raspberry and yellow apple aroma. Not sure if itβs nice or not. Mostly not I think. Itβs semi-sweet on the palate, pleasantly carbonated and smooth, with a fatty feeling. Apples, some raspberry and a touch of apple cake in the flavor, lasting for a while. Nice try, but Iβm not a fan. 160130
