Nice and persistent head. Aroma and taste of American hops, grapefruit, lemon, lime and apricot. Good American IPA taste. Well balanced with malt fullness. High drinkability. Hoppy aftertaste. Tried again 29.09.14 at Mi2. Less citrus in aroma, but a lot of orange biscuit. Would have rated this batch a lot lower, but chose not to.

Unclear golden. Fine aroma of American hops and elderberries. Taste is well-balanced with malt sweetness. Medium hop bitterness in lingering aftertaste. A bit thin mouthfeel. A well-balanced and drinkable beer.

0.5l bottle. A big, almost massive impressive looking light beige head on top of a light cloudy dark bronze colored beer. Some malt sweetness on the nose, traces of eggs right from the carton and something slightly herbal. Nice enough. Some buttery caramel in the taste. It has a above average carbonation level and the mouthfeel is nice and oily. More herbal things in the flavor also. Hard to describe what exactly. Thyme perhaps? A bit sharp, almost metallic coppery in a way and there are traces of sightly acidic red fruits. Not to much reminding me of Easter here really except the egg shell aroma, well, and perhaps the name of the beer then.. 27.03.2013
